India had always been known as the land that portrayed cultural and traditional vibrancy through its conventional arts and crafts. Every region in India has its own style and pattern of art, which is known as folk art. Other than folk art, there is yet another form of traditional art practiced by several tribes or rural population, which is classified as tribal art. The folk and tribal arts of India are very ethnic and simple, and yet colorful and vibrant enough to speak volumes about the country's rich heritage. The rural folk paintings of India bear distinctive colorful designs, which are treated with religious and mystical motifs. The Peacock, Pavo cristatus (Linnaeus), is the national bird of India. It is a symbol of grace, joy, beauty and love. Peacock is a large and majestic bird. Peacock is a colorful, swan-sized bird with a fan-shaped crest of feathers on its head, a white patch under the eye and a long-slender neck.

Hi everyone, Am a self taught artist who is also passionate about travel, food and photography. Though my profession is different, art was always close to my heart. I started painting when I was 4 and since then it was a long and gradual process in shaping the artist in me.
